How do I check if the studio is available during my desired shoot date(s)?

Please visit the ‘Booking + Pricing’ tab on our website and follow the steps below:

• Navigate to the scheduler:

• Select your desired booking length from the available options

• A calendar window will appear, select your desired date

• Available hours for your booking start time will appear, for that selected date. If you do not see your preferred start time, we are currently booked for that time

What is the best time of day to book for natural light?

Our studio is situated on the west side of Larimer Street and accessed via a private Alleyway — and because of our orientation and the material properties within the Alleyway, we get some beautiful bounced daylight throughout the day! The sun moves quickly around the studio and as the angle of the sun changes throughout the year, so does the sun exposure within Ten6. In general, our cyc-wall is well-lit during the early morning hours, and softer towards early afternoon. We can get direct sun in the studio anywhere from 1pm through 5pm, but check our instagram for the most up-to-date info!

How big is the studio? What are the sizes of your shooting areas?

Ten6 features a multitude of areas to utilize as settings and backdrops including our outdoor area

• Our primary shooting area features a 16ft wide by15ft deep cyclorama wall that curves into the ceiling

• Our second shooting area is our curtain lounge, which measures approximately 14ft by 14ft and is furnished as a sitting and lounge area.

• We have a full kitchen that can be utilized as a backdrop, or a primary shooting area.

• Our Outdoor Area measures approximately 600 square feet and receives amazing reflected light throughout the day.

• As always, don’t hesitate to redefine the space entirely to fit the needs and style of your shoot, please simply return furniture and other items to their original places before check-out.

Can I cancel or reschedule my booking?

Bookings can be canceled within the first 24 hours of booking with a full refund. After the first 24 hours they are non-refundable.

Bookings can be rescheduled up to 7-days prior to your booking date. Within 7 days of your booking date, reschedules are not permitted.

Where do I park?

***We suggest allocating at least 15 minutes during weekdays to secure parking***

Option 1: There is unlimited and free street parking where available — Utilize the space in front of our gated Alleyway.

Option 2: Paid parking at 32nd & Walnut St OR Paid parking at 3847 N Downing St

What if we’re running late?

Do us a solid and give us a call so we’ll know when we can expect you.

Can I shoot past my booking time?

We maintain a strict policy prohibiting shooting past your scheduled booking time, and charge $125 for overage.

Can I add time to my booking?

Yes! At any time prior to your booking, even during your booking, if you wish to add time please contact us via phone or email.

Do you have chairs, stools, posing furniture?

We’re stocked with a collection of stools and a small ladder to use for posing.

Can we bring outside food into the studio?

Yes! We have a fridge and full kitchen to keep your perishables cold, just be sure to empty the fridge of your brought items on your way out.

Do you have any table space for food?

Our kitchen has 15+ feet of countertop space and is a great place to house refreshments or hang with your team during lunch. Other great options include open space along our HMUA table. However, if you plan on having a large spread of food for your team, we recommend the open kitchen! — [disclaimer: our kitchen is still in the works so please mind the construction in this unfinished zone of the studio]

Do you have a wardrobe rack and/or a wardrobe steamer?

Yes! Our wardrobe rack is stocked with hangars, and our standing-steamer is available for your use.
